There are so many similarities between The Silva Method and breathing practices in Yoga. As Jose Silva mentioned One has to get into the alpha brain state first, for the visualization to manifest into physical reality. In yoga and tantra, so many conscious breathing practices revolve around keeping the attention between your eyebrows(THIRD EYE CHAKRA), and in The Silva method too. 

Let me explain to you the Two powerful STEPS which you can use in your daily life to manifest anything.


1. CONSCIOUS BREATHING

Breathing is an unconscious process that we do throughout our life. If you have noticed whenever we are angry, anxious, or scared there's an increased rate in our breathing. We breathe heavily whenever we have such emotions. Similarly when you're trying to manifest/visualize something- naturally your subconscious mind makes you go anxious which results in heavy breathing unconsciously. At this point, even if you visualize the numbers to get into the alpha state, it just doesn't work, guess why? Because of your unconscious breathing. 


For your brain to get into an Alpha state, you need to do conscious breathing. How?

First, understand this! Scientific experiments have been executed to observe breathing patterns. An average human without awareness of breathing breathes 15 times/per minute. A har breathes 55 times/minute, an Ape breathes 30 times/minute, A cat 24 times/minute, A dog 15-18 times a minute and a Tortoise breathes only 3 times a minute. 

Yes, There's a reason why a Tortoise lives for over 150 years, there's a reason why yogi's live longer than a normal human being. It's the Vital energy, Air, and technique of breathing. A Tortoise may not breathe consciously, it's just natural to them but we humans can. If less number of breaths per minute can make a Tortoise live longer, just imagine the power of it. 

For your brain to get into a calm state or an alpha state practice conscious breathing. You can sit or lie down comfortably with your eyes closed- keep your attention on your breath. Inhale deeply and exhale slowly. This conscious breathing will automatically bring down your number of breaths per minute allowing you to flow into alpha state easily.


2. LISTENING TO PURE ALPHA FREQUENCY AND VISUALIZING


Conscious breathing allows you to FLOW into the Alpha state quickly and it's now time to STAY in the alpha state for longer. Listening to only pure Alpha frequency helps you to stay in the ALPHA state.
